Hardware Engineer

  • Designed and manufactured numerous different PCB prototype boards while optimizing for cost-effective mass manufacturing

  • Reverse engineered hardware and open-source software to create a custom-built potentiostat to scan samples with square-wave voltammetry and sense nA changes in current

  • Designed thermal-controlled heating pad to maintain a steady liquid sample temperature

  • Created 3D models/renders/prints for PCB and electronics enclosure with constraints on manufacturing time and actions performed


ECE Senior Year Project | RTCM

Team Lead

Improved a real-time blood sensor prototype from Aptitude Medical Systems Inc. that aims to detect coagulopathy in a pre-hospital environment

  • Managed team and delegated roles to ensure responsibility consistency

  • Created a temperature-controlled surface using a thin-film PT100 thermistor + amplifier, ARM Cortex M0+, a thermo-electric Peltier module, H-Bridge, and PID software to heat and cool a blood sample

  • Implemented USB communication framework between microcontroller and custom rooted Android app while maintaining fast charging.

  • Interfaced with an electrochemical reading potentiostat and analyzed the data on the Android app

  • Designed and ordered a double-sided 4-layer PCB housing the electronics


Wireless Controlled Robotic Arm

May 2019 - June 2019

Designed an Android app that sent instructions via Bluetooth to a Raspberry Pi 3B which controlled a 6 D.O.F robotic arm and streamed low-latency POV video from the perspective of the claw back to the Android app. Control was enhanced through tilting the phone along 2 axis and interacting with virtual joysticks to control the position of the claw


Paxos Blockchain Ledger with Recovery

April 2019 - May 2019

Implemented Lamport’s algorithm, a distributed, contention-based protocol for mutual exclusion, to maintain a blockchain ledger for a simulated bank system with five servers connected through TCP/IP that can safely recover from crashes


SmashPad - An Electronic Drum

March 2019

Designed and created a piezo-sensitive electronic drum kit which connected to a micro-controller running custom state-machine driven software. Included an interactive LCD screen which customized the sound for each drum pad


Lund Carnival Electricity Group

April 2018 - May 2018

Helped determine, design, map, and install electricity infrastructure connected to the grid for a quadrennial carnival with over 400,000 visitors
